MY HOME-----NANNING

The capital of Guangxi province, NANNING became a centre of supply and command first during the Vietnam War, and then a decade later when China and Vietnam came to blows in 1979. Following the resumption of cross-border traffic in the 1990s the city has capitalized on trade agreements with its neighbour, and today Nanning is a bright, easy-going place with a mild boom-town atmosphere and mix of leafy boulevards, modern architecture and a handful of narrow, colonial-era streets. There's good shopping, decent food, a museum strong on regional archeology, and both international and domestic transport connections – in particular, over the nearby open border with Vietnam.

Weather

Nanning is humid subtropical monsoon climate, and is plentiful of sunshine. It has long and distinct summer and winter. Summer is hot, and the highest temperature is in July and August with the average level of 28.2°C (82.76°F)), the coldest day in January has the average temperature of 12.8°C(55°F)). Spring and autumn are wild, and the rainy days are mostly in summer.
Nightlife
Nanning, as the cultural center and historical and cultural city, has profound traditional culture deposits, and also now as a modern city, Nanning’s amusement activity is rich and various. When night is coming, Nanning begins to show its charming nightlife. Nightclub, bars, coffee shops and gymnasium are the nice place to relax
